Purple Mountain in Tennessee - Memories of my 4th Comet

Its name, Tsuchinshan, means "Purple Mountain," nd like a distant traveler from ancient skies, Comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS graces us with its brief and luminous visit. For the past week, I’ve chased its glow across the western horizon, hoping to capture my own timeless postcard from the Universe. I'll remember that Iwas standing in a cornfield in Bean Station, TN.

Many have shared their stunning images across the feeds, but having my own glimpse of this cosmic wanderer feels like a personal gift. This marks my fourth comet sighting—a quiet reminder of the vastness of time and space—and I can only wish it well as it embarks on its long journey, returning not for another 80,000 years.

Until then, I'll hold onto this memory like a whisper from the stars, a moment etched in the quiet October sky.
